02
Before Your Procedure

Pre-Procedure Preparation

1–2 weeks before

Our team provides detailed pre-procedure instructions to ensure optimal graft survival and healing. You'll be advised to avoid blood thinners, alcohol, and certain supplements. We also provide a prescription shampoo regimen to prepare your scalp.

Avoid blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen)
Stop smoking 2 weeks prior
Avoid alcohol 5 days before
Wash hair morning of procedure
Wear loose, button-up clothing
Arrange transportation home
03
Procedure Day

Hairline Design & Marking

30–45 minutes

On the day of your procedure, our medical team carefully designs and marks your new hairline using precision markers. This artistic step considers your facial proportions, age, and personal preferences. You review and approve the design before any extraction begins.

Medical team-designed hairline marking
Facial proportion analysis
Patient approval required
Photographs taken for records
04
Procedure Day

Local Anesthesia Administration

20–30 minutes

Local anesthesia is administered to both the donor and recipient areas. You remain fully awake and comfortable throughout the procedure. Most patients describe the anesthesia injections as the only mildly uncomfortable part of the entire experience.

Topical numbing cream applied first
Local anesthesia injected
Donor and recipient areas numbed
Patient remains awake and comfortable
05
Procedure Day

Follicle Extraction (FUE)

3–5 hours

Using a precision micro-punch tool (0.7–0.9mm), our highly experienced medical team individually extracts follicular units from the donor zone. Each graft contains 1–4 hairs. The extraction pattern is distributed evenly to maintain natural donor density. Patients typically watch TV, listen to music, or rest during this phase.

Micro-punch tool (0.7–0.9mm diameter)
2,800–4,500 grafts extracted
Even distribution preserves donor density
No linear incision — no linear scar
Tiny circular marks heal invisibly

Graft Sorting & Preservation

Concurrent with extraction

As grafts are extracted, our skilled medical technicians sort them by follicular unit size (1, 2, 3, or 4 hairs) and place them in a specialized preservation solution. This maintains graft viability and ensures optimal survival rates of 95–98%.

Grafts sorted by unit size
Specialized preservation solution
95–98% graft survival rate
Quality control at every step

Procedure Day

Recipient Site Creation

1–2 hours

Our medical team creates tiny incisions in the recipient area using micro-blades. The angle, depth, and density of these incisions are critical — they determine the naturalness and fullness of your final result. This is the most artistically demanding step of the procedure.

Micro-blade incisions at precise angles
Mimics natural hair growth direction
Density customized per zone
Hairline feathered for natural appearance

Procedure Day

Graft Implantation

2–4 hours

Each follicular unit is carefully placed into its recipient site by our highly experienced medical team. Single-hair grafts go at the hairline for a natural, soft edge; multi-hair grafts fill the crown for density. The result is a completely natural-looking distribution.

Multi-hair grafts for crown density
Precise placement by our medical team
